Software Engineer

Join our team as a Software Engineer, where your advanced technical skills and expertise will drive the seamless administration, development, and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) and Student Information System (SIS). This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from managing servers and databases to coding custom features and ensuring integrations that elevate the educational experience.

• Expertly administer and enhance the Canvas LMS and Zoni SIS systems to deliver a superior educational technology experience.
• Implement upgrades, updates, patches, and optimizations to ensure peak system performance.
• Utilize advanced skills in Ubuntu Servers, Postgres Databases, Ruby, Apache, Node.js, APIs, and web development to maintain cutting-edge systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously improve system efficiency.
• Drive the development of customized features within the LMS and SIS systems, tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of our institution.
• Craft and maintain high-quality code for ongoing system enhancements and integrations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate the LMS and SIS with various platforms, ensuring a fluid exchange of data.
• Develop and implement effective integration solutions.
• Create and manage thorough technical documentation for system configurations, integrations, and customizations.
• Produce user-friendly training materials to empower end-users.
